Bike rally creates cancer awareness in city

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of National Cancer Day, a cancer awareness bike rally was organised by The School of Public Health in collaboration with the Department of Oncology, JSS Medical College and Hospital, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) and the Department of Health & Family Welfare, in city on Nov. 7.

The rally, comprising about 50 bikers, was flagged off by JSS AHER Vice-Chancellor Dr. H. Basavanagowdappa from JSS Hospital premises. The bike rally passed via Ramaswamy Circle, Raliway Station, Government Ayurveda College Circle, Highway Circle, LIC Circle and returned to the Hospital.

Director of JSS Hospital Dr. C.P. Madhu, Chief MPH Co-ordinator Dr. Anil S. Bilimale, Surgical Oncology Assistant Professor Dr. Ravi Krishnappa, Medical Oncology Professor Dr. P.K. Kiran, District Surveillance Officer Dr. D.G. Nagaraj, Reader at the Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry Dr. Brinda Suhas Godhi and  others were present.
