BJP Media Centre inaugurated in city

April 12, 2023

Mysuru: MLC and State BJP General Secretary N. Ravikumar inaugurated the BJP Media Centre at City BJP Office in Chamarajapuram here on Monday in view of the forthcoming State Assembly elections.

Speaking on the occasion he said that after Bengaluru, Mysuru is the second biggest Media Centre in the State.

“There are crores of people  who read newspapers and watch TV in this region. This Media Centre has been set up to spread awareness among the people about the achievements, programmes and the ideologies of the BJP Government. The Media Centre will help in reaching out to the people of the five districts of the old Mysuru region. If we don’t give correct information to the people of the State,  they cannot take proper decisions,” he noted.

Continuing, Ravikumar said that while the Congress party has offered lip service to Scheduled Caste (SC) and other communities and resorted to vote bank politics without increasing reservations for them, the BJP took a historic decision to increase the reservations for these communities.

“By increasing the reservations for the SC and other communities, the BJP has shown its commitment to the people of these communities. Backward communities were demanding increase in reservations since a long time and the Congress was just dragging the issue. But the BJP Government took a strong decision and has given internal reservations to the SCs. Reservation has also been provided to Lingayats and Vokkaligas. Through this, BJP has ensured social justice, voice and employment facilities for all communities,” observed the BJP General Secretary.
