BJS conducts Smart Girl workshop

Mysuru: Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana (BJS), Mysuru Chapter, conducted a two-day Smart Girl Workshop at Shree Mahaveer Jain Vidyalaya in city recently.

Designed to empower young girls with the skills and mindset to face challenges confidently and responsibly, the workshop focused on building self-awareness, emotional strength and clarity in decision-making and all essential traits for today’s youth, especially teenage girls.

Eminent certified trainers Alka Bajaj of Vijayapura, Asha Chhajer of Bengaluru and Chitti Babu of Mysuru addressed real-life topics such as understanding self-worth and confidence;               handling peer pressure and making right decisions; managing relationships and emotions; personal safety and digital awareness and balancing modernity with moral values.

More than 80 girls actively participated and shared heartfelt feedback about how the workshop changed their perspective on self and society.

State General Secretary Prakash Gulecha expressed that the workshop is not just a programme, it’s a movement to build emotionally strong and morally conscious women of tomorrow. Region Chairman Sukhraj Vinayakiya graced the occasion. Chapter General Secretary B.K. Deepak Kumar Jain briefed about the programme.

The contributions of Seema Navaratanji Pitliya of Mysore Metro, Anil Kothari of Sri Silver, Himalay Kothari and Shree Mahaveer Jain Vidyalaya were recognised. Project Director Navratnamal Pitiya proposed a vote of thanks.

Vice-President Nemichand Badola, Treasurer Manohar Sankala, members Manoj Surana, Goutham Gandhi, Ladies Wing members Anitha Gadiya, Sunitha Barola, Anchal Desarla, Smitha Pagariya, Antima Srisrimaal and Sonia Barola rendered their services for the success of the workshop.
