Akashvani, Mysuru, has invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment as a Casual Announcer. The candidates must be at least 20 years of age and should be residents of Mysuru/ Mandya/ Chamarajanagar. However, priority will be given for residents of Mysuru. Candidates should be conversant in Spoken Kannada & have knowledge about Literature, Music, Arts, Culture and daily happenings around us. Also, the candidates should have the capability and skills to prepare programme list and be proficient in computers. Prescribed application forms can be collected from Mysuru Akashvani office in Yadavagiri and the filled-in forms must be submitted, along with supporting documents, before May 2. Candidates must have a degree from recognised University. Voice test fee is Rs. 300 for General Category and Rs. 225 for SC/ST.
