Dr. M.A. Shariff (63), former Professor and HoD – Surgery, MMC&RI and a resident of Subash Nagar in city, passed away last night. A native of Kanakpura, he leaves behind his wife, a son and a daughter. Namaz-e-Janaza will be held in Mysuru followed by  burial at Bengaluru today at 5 pm.
