Following Theerthodbhava at Talacauvery in Kodagu district, the birth place of River Cauvery, the Kodagu Gowda Samaja in city distributed holy Cauvery Theertha to members of the public at the Samaja premises in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage here on Friday evening. The Theertha was brought by the Samaja members who took part in the Theerthodbhava at Talacauvery. The members also performed puja to Goddess Cauvery. Kodagu Gowda Samaja President T. Manohar, Vice-President Thadiyappana Kumarajaya, Hon. Secretary Ganapathi Kuntikana,  Assistant Secretary Kuyyamudi Ramappa, Treasurer Kombanda Bheemaiah and others were present on the occasion.
