No re-exam for Class X Maths in State

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the re-examination in Economics for CBSE Class XII all over the country on Apr. 25. However, there will be no re-exam for  10th Standard Maths exam in the State.

“If at all re-examination, if any for Class X Mathematics paper has to be held, it will done only for the National Capital Region of Delhi and Haryana in July. Re-examination for the Class X paper will not be held in rest of the States,” said Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry’s School Education Department Secretary Anil Swarup, in Delhi yesterday.

He made this statement following leaks in question paper in the Class XII Economics Paper and Class X Maths Paper recently which has put a lot of students to hardship. The CBSE will also not conduct re-examination for the two papers appearing in their Class X and Class XII Board examinations abroad, he also clarified.
