The 107th birth anniversary of renowned littérateur Dr. Subramanya Raje Urs, popularly known as ‘Chadu-ranga,’ will be celebrated at a programme organised by city’s Anveshana Seva Trust  at the Institution of Engineers on JLB Road at 10.30 am on Jan.1. Rajya Sabha MP L. Hanu-manthaiah will  inaugurate the programme, while Columnist and former Police Officer J.B. Rangaswamy will preside. MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah, Dr. M.G.R. Urs of Anveshana Trust  and senior Journalist Ravindra Bhat will speak about Chaduranga. Chaduranga’s daughter-in-law Vijayalakshmi Urs, Trust Founder Amarnath Raje Urs and Vaidyavartha Prakashana Director H.M.T. Lingaraje Urs will  be the chief guests.
