Mysuru:  Dr. M. Suresh Babu, Deputy Director & Professor of Medicine, JSS Hospital, JSS Academy of Higher  Education & Research, was awarded the Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh (FRCP Edin). He received the Fellowship from Prof. Derek Bell OBE, President, RCPE at the convocation ceremony held at the Royal College, Edinburgh, United Kingdom recently.

Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) is a Medical Royal College in Scotland and is one of three organisations that sets the specialty training standards for physicians in the UK.

Dr. Suresh Babu completed his undergraduate and post- graduate medical education in Mysore Medical College. He was the Chairman of Association of Physicians of India (API), Mysuru chapter, Vice-Chairman, API, Karnataka Chapter and was the Founder-Chairman, Membership Development, American College of Physicians (ACP), India Chapter and  represents South Zone in the Governing Council of ACP, India Chapter.
