Reading the news about the Founder-Editor of Star of Mysore and Mysuru Mithra K.B. Ganapathy getting the Hon. Doctorate from Mysore University, I was reminded of what Justice Michael F. Saldanha of Karnataka High Court had written about him in 2018.

Paying a tribute to Fr. Denis Noronha, a household name in Mysuru those days, Justice Saldanha wrote: I was also a regular speaker with many other organisations and that was the time when I met Fr. Noronha and the one and only veteran journalist in the form of K.B. Ganapathy whom I felt was better suited to be the Head of the Department of English Literature at the University!
