Bogadi Road from the bridge is an inter-link road connecting city on one side, Vijayanagar and other localities on the other side. A School is also located and hence the road is always busy. After a few accidents, barricades have been erected. 

I wrote letters on the need of a Traffic Signal or Traffic Police to man this stretch as it’s very difficult to cross the road. I thought at least after erecting barricades, senior citizens like me can cross the road without fear. To my utter dismay, the traffic has become worst. Vehicles don’t slow near the barricades also as the riders will be in a tearing hurry. Why they have to go at such a speed? How will the people cross the road?

It’s better to install a road divider and allow senior citizens like me to walk fearlessly. Hope, the authorities will do something about the issue. Better if they see for themselves, the traffic density in Bogadi II Stage.
