Mysore/Mysuru: The Special Court for Elected Representatives at Bengaluru on Monday adjourned the hearing in the MUDA (the then Mysuru Urban Development Authority – MUDA) alternative sites scam case allegedly involving Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his family members, to Oct.8.
Mysuru-based RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna had filed a petition questioning the B-report submitted by the Lokayukta Police in connection with the MUDA scam and also seeking change of the Investigation Officer in the case. The Special Court, which heard the petition yesterday, posted the next hearing in the case to Oct.8.
Ex-MUDA Commissioner in judicial custody
Meanwhile, the Special Court has remanded former MUDA Commissioner G.T. Dineshkumar, who was arrested by the ED (Enforcement Directorate), to judicial custody.
The ED, which had arrested Dinesh Kumar in connection with the multi-crore MUDA 50:50 ratio alternative sites allotment scam over 10 days ago, produced him before the Court on Monday after his custody ended, following which the Court remanded him to 14-day judicial custody.
Bail application hearing today
The Court, which also heard Dinesh Kumar’s bail application at the same time, posted the next hearing on the plea to Tuesday (Sept.30), it is learnt.
