Dasara Film Festival-2025, organised by Dasara Film Festival Sub-Committee, will be inaugurated on Sept. 13 at 11 am at the ground floor of Mall of Mysore, on M.G. Road in the city. According to a press release by the Sub-Committee, the inaugural session has been dedicated to veteran actress B. Sarojadevi, who passed away recently.

Actors Sandhya Arakere, Pruthvi Ambar, Nagarjun Sharma & Anjali, and singer Jaskaran Singh will be the star attractions.  The films selected for screening will be exhibited from Sept. 14 to 20 at INOX multiplex at the Mall. For pass, the students will be charged Rs. 300 and others Rs. 500. A photo exhibition of cine photos by veteran film photographer Pragati Ashwath Narayan, will be held from Sept. 14 to 18, the release added.
