De-addiction Day

Marking the birth anniversary of late Seer Dr. Mahanta Shivayogi Swamiji of Vijaya Mahanteshwara Samsthana Mutt, Ilkal, Karnataka State Temperance Board, Bengaluru, Information & Public Relations Department, Health & Family Welfare Department and Government CPC Polytechnic College, Mysuru, have jointly organised De-Addiction Day celebrations at the auditorium of Government CPC Polytechnic College on Aug. 1 at 10.30 am. Narasimharaja MLA Tanveer Sait will inaugurate the programme. Government CPC Polytechnic College Principal Dr. S.V. Doddaiah will preside. Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikanth Reddy, District Health & Family Welfare Officer Dr. P.C. Kumaraswamy, District Surveillance Officer Dr. D.G. Nagaraju will be the chief guest. District Health & Family Welfare Department Psychiatrist Dr. M.S. Manjishri will deliver a special lecture, according to a press release from Information and Public Relations Asst. Director T.K. Harish.
