Devaraja Traffic Police conducts blood donation camp

Mysuru: Devaraja Traffic Police organised a blood donation camp at Police Station premises as part of National Road Safety Month celebrations, here yesterday.

More than 40 Police personnel including Devaraja Traffic Inspector V.D. Mamatha,  Devaraja Police Inspector Raghu, Traffic Sub-Inspectors Chandrashekar and Shivakumar, ASIs Basavaraju took part.

The camp was conducted under the supervision of doctors and staff of Apollo BGS Blood Bank. Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Shreyas Alva conducted the BMD tests for the Police personnel.

Speaking on the occasion, Traffic Inspector Mamatha advised the Police personnel to undergo health check-up on a regular basis apart from making changes in the lifestyle and food habits. She also asked the Police personnel to practice yoga, meditation and exercises for a good mental and physical health.

City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, DCP S. Jahnavi and ACP (Traffic) Parashuramappa were present.
