DFRL Director’s call to acquire soft skills

Mysuru: JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, had organised an orientation and personality development programme at Sri Rajendra Auditorium in city recently.  

Dr. R.K. Sharma, Director, DFRL, Mysuru, in his inaugural address emphasised on the importance of soft skill and personality development programmes and also the importance of yoga to students in their learning stage. He also mentioned that healthy food habits were very much important in building a good professional career.

He suggested the students to work hard in their learning period and motivated them to become professional pharmacists in future.

Dr. P.A. Kushalappa, Director (Academics), JSS University, was the guest of honour. Dr. T.M. Pramod Kumar, Principal, JSS College of Pharmacy,  presided.

The programme was coordinated by Dr. K.L. Krishna. Dr. R.S. Chandan welcomed. DHP Gowda proposed a vote of thanks.

After the inaugural function, two lectures on personality development were delivered by Dr. Vishvanath, Professor, Sarada Vilas B.Ed. College, on the topic “Vision and focus” and                                                                  Dr. G. Venkatesh Kumar, Professor, Department of Psychology, Manasagangothri, on                  “Discovery the self.”
