District Minister collects Rs. 2.02 lakh; adopts Mysuru Zoo animals and birds

Co-operation and District in-Charge Minister S.T. Somashekar was able to collect Rs. 2.02 lakh from residents of Sharada-Jnanakshi Layout for adoption of Mysuru Zoo animals and birds including one elephant, two peacocks, one Malabar Giant Squirrel and one Nilgiri Langur for a period of one year from July 24, 2020 to July 23, 2021. District Minister S.T. Somashekar handed over the Demand Draft for Rs. 2.02 lakh collected from the layout residents to the Zoo Authorities, according to a press release.
