Dr. C.N. Ravikumar (69), retired Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science, SJCE & former Principal of MyCEM, Mysuru, passed away yesterday morning at Manipal Hospital in city due to cardiac arrest.

Dr. Ravikumar, who was residing near Mathrumandali Circle, was a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India). He served as Advisor to Mahajana Institution and Trustee of VasaviVrunda Mysore Paschima.

He is survived by his wife Rajini and daughter Cinduja, Software Engineer, son-in-law Vijaya Krishna at Dallas, son Narayana, daughter-in-law Anusha, Software Engineers at Santa Clara (US) and a host of relatives and friends.

Cremation will be held at Gokulam Crematorium tomorrow (Mar. 2) at 2 pm.
