Mysuru: Dr. K Shivanna (87), retired District Surgeon and Director, Mysuru, passed away in his residence in Jayalakshmipuram this morning.

He leaves behind his wife  Gangamma Shivanna, son Harish, daughters senior advocate Kanchanamala, Asha and Nisha, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. 

Last rites will be performed in his farm at Devarahalli in Bilikere at 10.30 am tomorrow.
