Dr. K. Yashodhara (73), retired Professor of Education, University of Mysore and a resident of Premier Residency Apartment on Dewan’s Road, passed away yesterday in city.

She had held various posts including the Chairperson, Dean and Professor, Department of Education Studies at the University of Mysore.

Daughter of late K.T. Kalachar and Basavarajamma, she is survived by five younger sisters, two younger brothers and a host of  relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
