Mysuru:  Former Mayor B.L. Bhyrappa has criticised MLA S.A. Ramdas for claiming false publicity for the projects initiated by the then Chief Minister Siddharamaiah at J.P. Nagar in city.

Addressing media persons in city on Saturday, he accused that Ramdas was misleading the public by stating that he got funds sanctioned for various development works he had inaugurated in the area recently.

The MLA was performing guddali puja to the works which was approved during the previous Congress  government.

He said that J.P. Nagar never witnessed any major development works in the last 30 years. Vexed Sewage Farm problems still remained unsolved and haunting the residents. Ramdas who has been representing the constituency never made any efforts to solve this problem.   

“MLA Ramdas should stop telling lies to people and claim false publicity,” Bhyrappa said. Former Corporator Umarani and others were present.
