Mysore/Mysuru: Former KR MLA M.K. Somashekar campaigned for Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha Constituency candidate M. Lakshmana in several areas coming under KR Assembly segment in the city on Saturday.

Somashekar, accompanied by a host of Congress leaders, campaigned in Ward 60, Silk factory area, Nellur Shed, Rajiv Gandhi Colony, Arundhati Colony, Buddhanagar etc., and sought votes for Lakshmana.

Highlighting the achievements of the Siddaramaiah Government and implementation of the 5 guarantees, he appealed the voters to vote for Lakshmana to strengthen the hands of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and for the Congress to return to power at the Centre.

Former Mayor Narayan, Congress leaders Sridhar, Pallavi Begum, Shivanna, R.H. Kumar, R. Dasu, Artist Nagaraju, Narasimha, Hanumaiah, Srinivas, Manju, Nagarathna and others were present.
