Ex-servicemen to meet in city tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: The District Unit of All Karnataka Ex-Servicemen Association will be meeting  at No. 265, 19th Main B-Block, Vijayanagar 3rd Stage in city at 10 am tomorrow (July 14) to discuss the union of all Ex-servicemen Associations in Mysuru and Kodagu districts.

Addressing a press meet here yesterday, Association District President K.P. Divakar said that several servicemen and ex-servicemen have been cheated by private developers on the promise of sites allotment. In order to stop this, it has been planned to bring together all Ex-servicemen Associations in Kodagu and Mysuru districts under one platform  and form ‘Servicemen and Ex-servicemen Housing Co-operative Society,’  he said adding that there are 7,000 Ex-servicemen families in Mysuru and 15,000 in Kodagu.
