Mysore/Mysuru: A father and his son displayed their cruelty by beating a horse mercilessly with a whip near the tonga stand at Agrahara Circle in city yesterday night.

Though the horse collapsed due to severe whipping by the father-son duo, they continued to beat the horse without mercy. When the public began to question them, the father and his son began to abuse them, resulting in the public retreating from the spot.

A few people were heard telling that the authorities should strictly implement animal laws to save animals from being abused by their owners or by the public.
