Former IPS Officer Annamalai to visit city on Dec.26

Former Karnataka cadre IPS Officer Annamalai, who quit Police service and joined the BJP a few months ago, will be visiting the city on Dec.26. Annamalai had served at Chikkamagalur, Bengaluru and other places in his 10-year career as an IPS officer in the State.

Annamalai, who was appointed as Tamil Nadu BJP Vice-President just days after he joined the party, will be in the city to release the Kannada book ‘Benkiya Chendu Kuili’, written by senior city advocate O. Sham Bhat at a programme organised at Sarada Vilas College Centenary Hall in Krishnamurthypuram at 4.30pm on Dec.26. Former Minister A.Narayanaswamy will preside, while Karnataka Sahitya Academy Chairman Dr. B.V. Vasanthkumar will speak about the book.
