Gamblers held on city outskirts

Mysuru: In separate cases, Yelwal and Alanahalli Police, who raided two places on city outskirts, have arrested many persons indulged in gambling.

In the first case, Yelwal Police, who raided a gambling spot at Anandasagara Layout on Seegalli Road, took six persons involved in gambling into custody and have seized about Rs. 8,000 stake money.

In the second case, Alanahalli Police raided a spot, where 12 to 13 persons were found gambling on the side of Cauvery Enclave Main Road, and have taken a few gamblers into custody.
