Nilasoge Gurusiddaiah (86), retired Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) and a resident of Ramakrishnanagar, passed away yesterday in city. After retiring from service, he had served as the President of Sri Maalarasamma Seva Trust at Nilasoge village in T. Narasipur taluk and was the senior member of Siddarth Sangha in Ramakrishnanagar.

He leaves behind his wife Shivamma, sons Police Inspectors Praveen Babu and Vishwaguru, and Lohithguru, daughters Kumuda and Uma, grand children and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Nilasoge village today.
