Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house, have decamped with cash and gold finger rings from the house.
The burglary took place at the house of Nagendra, a driver at Dattanagar in city on Nov. 1. It is said that Nagendra’s wife was present in the house, when the burglary took place.
In his complaint, Nagendra has stated that as it was a holiday on Nov. 1, he was in the house and his wife, who participated in Kannada Rajyotsava celebration at her work place, came home and was sleeping in her room.
He further stated at about 1.30 pm, he locked the house and went out to meet his friend. When he returned at about 2.45 pm, he saw the front door open and the lock broken. On entering the house, he found the locker of the almirah forcibly opened and Rs. 25,000 cash and two gold finger rings worth about Rs. 95,000 stolen.
K.R. Police, who have registered a case based on the complaint, are investigating.
