Varnit Negi is new Hunsur Assistant Commissioner

Bengaluru: The State Government on Thursday put senior IAS Officer P. Manivannan, serving as Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, in concurrent charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Information and Public Services  with immediate effect.

Another Senior IAS Officer Tushar Girinath, Principal Secretary of Co-operation Department, is put in concurrent charge of Principal Secretary of  Department of Women and Child  Development and Empowerment of Differently-abled and Senior citizens.

In other transfers ordered  on July 16, an IAS Officer of 2019 batch Varnit Negi has been appointed as Assistant Commissioner of Hunsur Sub-Division, Mysuru district, in place of B.N.Veena, who has been transferred.

Varnit Negi is one of the eight probationary IAS Officers  who got new postings yesterday.
