Mysuru-based golfer Pranavi S. Urs, continuing her fine form, won the Category ‘B’ title with a three-day aggregate score of 230 (81+74+75) in the IGU Northern India Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Tournament held at Noida Golf Course recently.
Pranavi also finished second in the Category A & B and Ladies section and Category ‘A’ sections respectively. Mysuru’s Disha Kavery (6th in Category ‘B’) & Neeharika Thangamma (8th in Category ‘B) also fared well.
Mysuru’s Vidhatri K. Urs secured the third place in the Category ‘C’ section with a three-day aggregate score of 248 (83+82+83). Rishika Muralidhar of Karnataka won the first place with a three-day cumulative score of 247 (82+83+82) followed by Manya Saini (Gujarat) with a three-day card of 247.
Diksha Dagar of Delhi won the first place in the Category A & B & Ladies section with a three-day aggregate score of 225 (74+78+73). Pranavi finished second (230) and Anika Varma (UP-232) secured the third place.
Pranavi S Urs has been selected to represent India in the Singha Thailand Amateur Open Golf Tournament to be held from Oct. 2-6 at the Panya Indira Golf Club, Pattaya, Thailand.
