Mysuru: Marking the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, which is celebrated as National Sports Day, the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) has organised an inter-college sports meet for girls and boys at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Nazarbad on Aug. 29 at 9.30 am.

Hockey, Basket Ball and Tug-of-War tournaments will be held as part of the meet. Candidates can register on spot and take part in the tournament.
