The months from October to December every year is crucial for the pensioners as they have to submit Life Certificate, namely Jeevan Pramaan.  The  Union and State Governments have already initiated novel ways like going to the pension disbursing branch or online submission of  this certificate.

However, PF pensioners are deprived of this, as they have to go to browsing centres where this facility is available and pay Rs. 40 to get this done.  It should be borne in mind that there are many PF pensioners who are aged and may find it difficult to visit bank or browsing centres. 

It is high time that PF authorities should also think of submitting online Jeevan Pramaan certificate in a simple way or at the pension disbursing banking agencies.  Can we expect this at least from 2024 onwards?
