Karnataka Sambhrama – 50: Mega Consumer Fair begins at Dasara Exhibition Grounds

Mysore/Mysuru: To mark the golden jubilee of renaming the Mysore State as Karnataka on Nov. 1, 1973, Simon Exhibitors is conducting a month-long ‘Mega Consumer Fair Karnataka Sambhrama – 50‘ at Dasara Exhibition Grounds in Mysuru from July 25 to Aug. 25.

Karnataka Exhibition  Authority (KEA) Chairman Ayub Khan, also a former Mayor inaugurated the Consumer Exhibition here on July 25.

Simon Exhibitors Director M.S. Nagachandra said  the expo will have more than 100 stalls displaying Robotic Butterfly, Animal Kingdom, Himalayan Animals and Avatar. It  will also be a house of knowledge where information on various outstanding personalities of Karnataka between 1952 and till date which includes Chief Ministers, film actors, sports personalities, Jnanpith award winners and artistes will be available.

 The expo is designed in such way that it is a must visit for all, who are on the lookout for dress materials, readymade clothing, saree, kurta pyjama, shirting and suiting.

A wide range of masala powders, honey, chocolates, chutney powder, pickle, dry fruits are also up for sale. From small company products to multinational company products are all available under one roof. 

Apart  from this, amusement park for children and elders are also spread across the expo.

For foodies, food court is also set up, which has been attracting a large number of visitors to the exhibition grounds.

The expo will be open for public daily between 4 pm  and 9.30 pm. The entry fee is Rs. 60 for adults and for children below five years  age, the entry is free, according to the organisers of expo.
