Sir,
I needed an Encumbrance Certificate (EC) for my house property. Finding that Kaveri 2.0 software provides the opportunity to obtain the same online, I decided to employ it.
I work more on my smartphone most of the time so I tried to access using Chrome browser. The software partially loads on the browser. Having tried a few times, I decided to check on Google search engine.
I found out that the only browser that it works, with some fine tuning the browser, is Firefox. Finally, I succeeded in logging into the site.
To my dismay, I find that entering date is made very cumbersome. The best is to allow date to be filled in. In case it is decided to use calendar, the best option is the calendar that provides for scrolling date, month and year individually rather than the one that needs tapping back and forth several times as the number of years to scroll are large depending on the person putting in an application on the site.
Moreover, since Chrome browser is generally employed for accessing websites, it becomes useful if the website is tuned to be accessible on all commonly used browsers.
Can one hope that the authorities take steps as found necessary to implement the above suggestions and make the Kaveri 2.0 software user-friendly?
