Kottibeeregowda (75), a resident of D. Salundi village in the taluk, passed away on Friday at the village.

He leaves behind his wife Ningamma, sons Basavanna and Shivaraju, daughters Mahadevamma and Rathnamma, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the village on Friday, according to family sources.
