I visited the BSNL Office in Jayalakshmipuram today with an intention of changing my SIM from Post-paid to Pre-paid. At the inquiry I was directed rightly and went to the appropriate desks with my request, wherein I was offered seat everywhere.
I was guided correctly and asked me to clear my Post-paid bill. It was done in no time. Later they asked me to surrender my old SIM. As I did not know how to remove it from the mobile, on request, the staff saved my contacts in the phone and handed over the SIM. They asked for an alternative number, which I hadn’t, as I was a poor woman with only one mobile. They somehow managed.
Finally, when they gave the new SIM, the staff with a concern to the customer, fixed it into the mobile. Though all these are not a part of their duty, they reflect the concern they have to their customers.
My heartfelt thanks to all the staff who were involved in the process of changing my SIM from Post-paid to Pre-paid. I wish all the government offices have customer-friendly environment.
