Sir,
I would like to bring to readers’ attention about the yeomen service rendered by the front-line covid warriors at District Hospital on KRS Road.
On Apr. 16 (Friday) I rushed to this hospital as my RT-PCR report came positive. In spite of considerable crowd, I noticed the staff who were registering the covid patients were quite calm and friendly. They registered me for the OPD admission and guided me to a hall. The head nurse and other nurses were quite helpful in guiding me with appropriate prescriptions and next steps.
Unfortunately, on Apr. 18 (Sunday), my family too had their covid report positive. We were concerned a bit and called up a private hospital for medical advice. We were surprised to hear that being weekend, the consulting doctors were on leave and hence advised to visit next day (Monday).
To our pleasant surprise, when we visited the District Hospital on Sunday, all the medical staff were available and were working with same enthusiasm as any other day. They provided medical advice to my family too, with the same helpful attitude.
Later, we received multiple calls from the DC office daily, inquiring our health status. On May 1, all of us have recovered from this pandemic and are taking all necessary precaution to prevent any recurrence.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the COVID warriors at Mysuru District Hospital and the DC Office War Room for having helped us recover from this pandemic.
