L. Nagendra continues as Mysuru City BJP President

Bengaluru: Even as the tussle and the war of words continue between senior party leader and Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and incumbent State BJP Chief B.Y. Vijayendra, Shikaripur MLA and son of former CM B.S. Yediyurappa over election to top post of party, the State BJP has released a list of Party Presidents of 23 Organisational Districts of the State, according to which former Chamaraja MLA L. Nagendra will continue as Mysuru City BJP President.

Following have been named as Presidents of Organisational Districts as per the list announced by party’s  Election Officer and former MLC Capt. Ganesh Karnik:

Mysuru city – L. Nagendra, a former MLA; Chamarajanagar – C.S. Niranjan Kumar, a former MLA; Dakshina Kannada – Satish Kumpala; Chikkamagalur – Devaraj Shetty; Shivamogga – N.K. Jagadish; Uttara Kannada – Narayan Srinivas Hegde; Hubballi-Dharwad – Thippanna Majjagi; Dharwad Rural – Ningappa D. Sutagatti; Belagavi city – Geetha Sutar; Belagavi Rural – Subash Dundappa Patil; Chikkodi – Satish Appajigol; Bidar – Somanath Patil; Kalaburagi – Chandrakant B. Patil; Kalaburagi Rural – Ashok Bagali; Yadgir – V. Basavarajappa Gouda; Koppal – Basavaraj Dadesugur; Ballari- Anil Kumar Moka; Vijayanagar – Sanjeev Reddy; Chikkaballapur – B. Sandeep; Kolar – Om Shakti Chalapathi; Bengaluru North – S. Harish; Bengaluru Central – A.R. Saptagirigowda; Bengaluru South – C.K. Ramamurthy, Jayanagar MLA.

However, the party is yet to name  Presidents for the remaining 16 Organisational Districts.
