Mysore/Mysuru: The installation ceremony of new office-bearers of Lions Club of Mysore East for the Lionistic Year 2025-26 was held on July 13 at Dasaprakash Paradise, Yadavagiri.

The new team was formally installed by Rtn. Dr. Parasmal Bhansali, Past District Governor, Rotary International District 3190 while the induction of new members was done by Ln. M.V. Deviprasad, Past District Governor, Lions Clubs International.

Ln. CS M.J. Veerash assumed charge as the Club President along with other key office-bearers including Ln. Vinod Tiwari – First Vice-President; Ln. Vijayalakshmi – Secretary and Ln. Vikas Bakliwal – Treasurer.

Dignitaries present on the occasion included Ln. Siddegowda – District Cabinet Secretary; Ln. Hemant Bhansali – Secretariat; Ln. Satish – Region Chairman; Ln. Mahavir Chand Bhansali – District Chairman and Ln. Ramanathan – Immediate Past President.

As part of community service, the Club announced its first service activity for the year — distribution of 20 artificial limbs to differently-abled, which was held on July 14 at JSS Hospital.

This noble initiative was supported by Dr. Renu Agarwal, who donated artificial limbs.
