‘Namma Nadige-Tyajya Mukta Kadege’ special drive from tomorrow

The Mysuru ZP, in association with the RDPR Department and various other organisations, will launch ‘Namma Nadige-Tyajya Mukta Kadege,’ a month-long awareness drive for making rural areas clean and hygienic and free of wastes, from tomorrow (Jan.16).

The drive, which will be carried out with the theme ‘Namma Grama- Namma Javabdari’ (Our village – Our responsibility), will create awareness among villagers regarding maintenance of hygiene, segregation of wastes, cleanliness of drainages, waste pit management, conversion of wet wastes into manure and such other cleanliness issues, through sharing of videos in social media networks, poster campaigns, house visits, local media and other means. The drive will go on till Feb.15, according to a press release.
