P.G. Dwarakanath (85), Chairman of Vidya Vardhaka Sangha (VVS), Bengaluru, passed away at a private hospital in Bengaluru yesterday.

Dwarakanath, who joined VVS as a Science Teacher and was associated with it for nearly 65 years, had strived for the development of VVS B.M. Sri Educational Institutions (Kuvempunagar) and VVS Saptarshi Public School (Vijayanagar) in Mysuru.

A resident of Bengaluru, Dwarakanath leaves behind his wife Leelavathi, son Anirudh, daughter Achala, daughter-in-law Tanya, son-in-law Ranjan, grandson Atiksh and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Bengaluru this evening.
