Narayan (98), a resident of the town (behind the Forest Department Office), passed away yesterday following brief illness in the town. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the family’s farm land this afternoon, according to family sources.

K.R. Pet: Gopamma (86), a resident of Sheelanere village in the taluk, passed away on Sunday in Mysuru. She leaves behind four sons including KSRTC employee T.C.
