Chowbini C. Shivashankar (82), retired DCE Officer at the Agriculture Department and a resident of the town, passed away at his residence. A football player, he leaves behind his wife, two daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Shamburayanakatte in the town yesterday, according to family sources.
Boramma (70), wife of Doddegowda alias Swamy Gowda and a resident of Ganjigerekoppal village of Bookanakere holi in the taluk, passed away yesterday afternoon at the village. She leaves behind three sons, one daughter, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the village this morning.
Paruvanda Subramani (62), a resident of Preethi Layout here, passed away this morning at his residence in city. He leaves behind his wife, one daughter, one son and a host of relatives and friends. His body will be donated to a hospital in city this afternoon.
