Pensioners’ Day celebrated

Pensioners’ Day was celebrated by the Railway Pensioners Welfare Association, Mysuru, at SC/ST Association Auditorium on Seshadri Iyer Road here on Dec. 17. G.S. Swaminathan, General Secretary, explained about late D.S. Nakara’s case in detail and also about the various points suggested to Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru and Chief Workshop Manager, Ashokapuram, during the Pension Adalat held on Dec. 15 and added that both have agreed to implement the suggestions for the benefit of pensioners.

Parthasarathy, President, in his presidential address explained various cases solved recently and the good work done by the Association. He advised all pensioners to verify their PPO, spouse’s name & date of  birth, whether they are as per Aadhaar card & PPO. A. Dyavanna, Treasurer, welcomed. Billegowda, Working General Secretary, proposed a vote of thanks.
