Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR) has decided for permanent augmentation with one second class sleeper coach for Train No. 16527 Yesvantpur – Kannur Express with effect from Dec.20 and Train No. 16528 Kannur – Yesvantpur Express with effect from Dec.21.

Train No. 16527/16528 Yesvantpur – Kannur – Yesvantpur Express will have the revised composition of one AC 2-tier coach, two AC 3-tier coaches, twelve  second class aleeper coaches, four general aecond class coaches, two luggage cum brake van with generator.

Cancellation and regulation

Railway has permitted Line Block for taking up Cement Concrete Apron work at Vasco da gama station for 45 days from Dec.24 to Feb.6, 2018.  As such,  Train No. 56963/56964, Vasco da gama – Kulem- Vasco da gama Passenger will be cancelled during the said period. Train No. 12742, Patna-Vasco da gama Express will be regulated for 60 minutes between Majorda and Sankval stations on every Monday.
