Sir,
Train number 17302 Dharwad-Mysuru Express acts as a convenient daily train to reach Mysuru overnight. The recent augmentation of an additional AC 3 Tier coach to this prestigious train is welcome as the move benefits many regular travellers towards Hubballi-Dharwad.
The existing arrival time of 17302 Dharwad-Mysuru Express at Mysuru Station is only at 7.05 am. Hence for the regular commuters including daily office-goers who arrive at Mysuru by this train are forced to miss Chamundi Express departing towards Bengaluru at 6.45 am.
It should be noted that there are no other daily mail/express trains towards Bengaluru from Mysuru between 6.45 am and 8.20 am, that is for a gap of about two hours from Mysuru. The next available express train to Bengaluru is only at 8.20 am. that is, Malgudi Express. Thus Bengaluru bound passengers do not have any option than waiting for two long hours to connect to another train till 8.20 am.
Thus there is now an urgent need to arrange for early arrival of 17302 Dharwad-Mysuru Express at Mysuru to facilitate onward connection by Chamundi Express departing at 6.45 am from Mysuru.

Who will travel to Mysuru and then to Bengaluru from Dharwad ? Very bad idea. The current time is good
@Rajeswari: Torally agree. Dharwad to Bangalore via Mysore is a circuitous route and no traveller will prefer this. As such the current arrival timing is correct and no change is required. Instead, Dharwar -Blore passengers can avail of Hampi,Rani Chennamma or Vasco, if it suits them.
