This is to bring to the notice of officials concerned on the leakage of UGD water which is creating health issues for people around the area.

The UGD line near 7th Cross, 3rd Main junction of Ramakrishnanagar ‘I’ Block is leaking and filling in the open trench, leading to very bad smell since  a few months.

Several complaints to local leaders including MCC Corporator to take action to prevent leakage have fallen on deaf ears.  Occasionally somebody from MCC comes and does some temporary work to clear the blockage in the nearby manhole but after a few days the problem reappears.

Residents here are fed up with the poor response and temporary work from the authorities.

The drainage system in this area is very old, about more than 25 years and creates similar issues at one or the other spot in the locality. A permanent solution  is required from the  responsible authorities to help the citizens. Hoping to see somebody soon with a permanent action.
