Police set up Information Kiosks at tourist spots in city

Mysore/Mysuru: With tourists and visitors arriving in the city in droves during weekends, extended holidays and other Public Holidays throughout the year, the Traffic Police have set up a total of four Tourist Information Kiosks (Centres) in the vicinity of the Palace in the heart of the city, for the benefit of tourists.

The KR Traffic Police have set up three Information Kiosks at Varaha gate (South gate) of the Palace, Gun House Circle and Ramaswamy Circle, while the Devaraja Traffic Police have set up a Kiosk at Balarama gate (North gate) of the Palace. These Kiosks will guide the tourists on tourist spots and other major attractions in the city, Vehicle parking facilities, roads and directions etc. These Kiosks will function as permanent ones, with Police personnel manning them.
