Private bus hits road divider after axel breaks

Mysuru: A private bus carrying students of a private school in Vijayapura, hit the road divider near the old toll gate on Bengaluru-Mysuru road yesterday evening after the bus’s axel broke. Luckily, no injuries or loss of lives took place.

The private bus (KA-28-C-5979), carrying students of a private school on a tour, hit the road divider resulting in the bus getting damaged. There were 36 students inside the bus and luckily all of them are safe.

After taking the students to tourist spots in Mysuru, the bus was on its way to Bengaluru when the accident took place.

N.R. Traffic Police, who reached the spot, arranged a KSRTC bus to take the students and staff to their destination. Police sources said that N.R. Police have shifted the damaged bus to the Police Station premises.
