Mysuru: Rangayana, together with Akashavani, Mysuru, will be launching an innovative programme ‘Ranga Banuli,’ to be presented on last Tuesday of every month at 6.30 pm, at Sriranga in Rangayana premises tomorrow (Aug.28).
Disclosing this at a press meet at Rangayana premises here yesterday, Rangayana Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjuna Swamy said that the new programme would feature an audio presentation of a play broadcast by Akashavani spanning 30 minutes followed by an interaction with the audience for another 30 minutes.
He further said that the complete programme would be broadcast on FM 100.6 on last Saturday of every month from 4 pm to 5 pm. He added that entry to the new programme is free.
Continuing, Mallikarjuna Swamy said that the first Ranga Banuli would be held on Aug.28 with inauguration by Theatre Artiste Rajeshwari Verma. He added that the first audio play will be 20 Varshadanatara based on an English play.
